Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Kyla-Drew began dancing competitively at 5 years of age, laying the foundation for a career in performance art and entertainment. Following her relocation to Los Angeles at age of 8, she continued intense dance training while moving forward as an actress. Making her mark in television, Kyla-Drew has starred and guest-starred on numerous hit series including ABC’s drama The Good Doctor, Station 19, Castle, and Greys Anatomy, CBS (drama) Battle Creek, CBS comedy series How I Met Your Mother, Netflix’s No Good Nick, Disney Channel comedy, Jessie, and was a series regular on Nickelodeon’s hit show Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn, as well as starred in Netflix’s Dad Stop Embarrassing Me alongside Jamie Foxx.
Kyla-Drew has also been seen on the big screen in the Lakeshore feature film “Peppermint” as Maria alongside Jennifer Garner and Warner Bros. feature film “Prisoners,” as ‘Joy Birch’ alongside leading actors Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Terrance Howard, and Viola Davis.
She is academically ahead of her peers, holding an Associate Degree in Natural Science and currently a Senior at the University of Southern California majoring in Journalism. Expanding her resume beyond academics, Kyla-Drew is fluent in Spanish.
Kyla-Drew hopes to continue acting while branching out into the sports industry where she aspires to be an on-air sports broadcast reporter.
