About the Author

Hi. I’m Sydney, and I love food. I don’t just love food though; I love the conversations that happen around food. The conversations that happen in the kitchen when you’re making a mess cooking dinner, or the conversations happening before and after the “can you pass the salt?” – the dining experience has changed tremendously during the pandemic, in good and bad ways. To express that, I spoke with many people who detailed their experiences to me, and compiled them into a special story in which I titled, “Breaking Bread.”
